Our Story
Central American Trade Company, Inc. was created in 1987 from a Dallas apartment when one of its two founders started offering and selling Guatemalan arts and crafts, hand-woven trims, and wearable products to local manufacturers and craft stores which were popular in the US market at the time. Since then the company has evolved and while still offering traditional Guatemalan woven items and crafts now produces custom-made apparel and accessories to US-based retailers, manufacturers and distributors.
Our Dallas-based sales office services all US accounts with a personal, meticulous dedication which ensures the best quality products and competitive prices our customers expect.
Our Guatemala City staff provides product development and quality-controlled production in order to ensure on-time delivery. Over 30 years of doing business give us the experience to do our job right.
